Nevada Educational Choice Scholarship provides financial assistance to K–12 students attending registered private schools, including The King’s Academy. This is a statewide program, administered by nonprofit Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGOs) who follow the regulations set by the state of Nevada. Families with students attending, or planning to attend, a registered private school in Nevada can apply if they have an income of up to 300% of the Federal Poverty Level ($93,600 for a family of four applying in 2024).
There are six approved Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGOs) in Nevada. These organizations determine when the applications are available, review the applications, and award scholarships. Usually, applications open at the beginning of each year between January and March. We recommend to parents that they start checking each of the six SGOs websites below no later than January and get familiar with the application process.
